In March, the municipality of Jánossomorja commissioned our company to survey the road network of the settlement with our GeoMeter mobile mapping device.
The surveyed data provide a solid starting point for conceptualizing existing infrastructure and future planning tasks for existing facilities. Moreover, based on the photo documentation, it is possible to navigate and measure from the office, also to determine the location and type of surveyed trails and objects.
In Jánossomorja, in just one day, with the GeoMeter Mobile mapping tool we recorded 130 kilometers of data , which was later processed with ForteMap's AI artificial intelligence-based table recognition module.
During the processing the system inserted approximately 650 boards and other public objects on the map, with an accuracy of 15 cms.
...and that's not all! Data on other road networks have also been recorded, such as data on the axis of the road network, width, length, pavement, pavement quality, etc., which, in addition to the practical benefits, also comply with Decree 5/2004 GKM.

We also welcomed the invitation of the City Television for an interview, as the developments carried out using the results of the survey directly affect the citizens of the city, so it is important that they are informed about the events first hand.
